GOD'S PROMISES - A FRIEND
Ask God to bring true friends into your life that you can trust and count on in good times and bad. A true friend is someone you can tell your deepest, darkest secrets to and they will never breathe a word to another soul. A true friend will not judge you when you share hurtful or shameful experiences that you have endured. A true friend will not be envious when good things are coming your way. A true friend is something to cherish.
"I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant..." Psalm 34:4,5a
"Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. How priceless is your unfailing love, O God!" Psalm 36:5,7a
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
"... whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit." 1 Corinthians 6:17
"The only things that counts is faith expressing itself through love." Galatians 5:6b
"Rejoice in the Lord always...Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:4-7
"...you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things...your life is now hidden with Christ in God." Colossians 3:1-3
"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with them, and they with me." Revelation 3:20
