"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (II Timothy 2:15) Have you had the need to use simple math that you learned in elementary school, such as: Addition, multiplication or subtraction? Of course you have. But did you notice that no matter how many years it has been since attending elementary school, you still remember what you learned? That’s the way it will be with the study of God’s word. If we study, then we will find that the Holy Spirit will work with what we have learned, and call it back to our remembrance every time we need it. I know sometimes we may want God to supernaturally infuse his word into our minds, but sorry, it doesn’t work like that. If we want to be noted as a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, who rightly divides the word of truth, we must STUDY!!! - Nugget # 27
"Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord… But the Lord sent out a great wind into the sea…Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights."(Read: Jonah 1:1-4:11) You may run, but you can not hide from the presence of the Lord. So don’t even go there! - Nugget # 29

(Mark 6:4) Jesus encourages us not to overthrow the call of God upon our lives because those who have known us from childhood or who are closest to us refuse to accept it.
