GOD'S PROMISES - CHARACTER

I believe in life it takes a person of good character to always be mindful of being respectful to others even when it feels as though your world is falling apart.  It is so easy to be rude to others when your heart is heavy and you are in turmoil. Ask God to instill good character into your heart.

These are the generations of Noah:  Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.  Genesis 6:9

For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God:  the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.  Deuteronomy 7:6

For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.  Deuteronomy 14:2

And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou has kept from him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.  1 Kings 3:6

But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself; the Lord will hear when I call unto him.  Psalms 4:3

He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.  Psalms 15:2

Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them.  Be strong and very courageous.  Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you.  Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left.  Then you will be successful in everything you do.  Study this Book of Instruction continually.

Inspirational Bible Verse of the Week
2 Corinthians 4:7-11
But we had this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.  We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.  We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.  For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body.
