GOD'S PROMISES - BETRAYAL

There may come a time in your life that you have been betrayed in the worst way by someone who you really love and care about.  It may be hard, but ask God to help you to forgive that person so that you can move on with your life without any bitterness or resentment in your heart.

"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.  Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."  Deuteronomy 31:8

"No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life.  As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you."  Joshua 1:5

"Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand."  Psalm 73:23

"But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness."  Psalm 86:15

"God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord."  1 Corinthians 1:9

Inspirational Bible Verse of the Week
Philippians 3:7-9
But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.  What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things.  I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ--the righteousness that comes from God is by faith.

At times in our lives we may become vulnerable to life's situations and circumstances.  God will give you strength in these difficult times.  He will keep you safe and help you through.

"Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge."  Psalm 16:1

"In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness.  Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me.  Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me.  Keep me free from the trap that is set for me, for you are my refuge."  Psalm 31:1-4

GOD'S PROMISES - REGRETS

Sometimes in life we regret the choices that we have made along the way.  Don't live your life burdened with regrets from your past.  Ask God to help you heal from all past regrets that are weighing you down.

"His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation."  Luke 1:50

"...to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace."  Luke 1:77-79

"Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance:  Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners -- of whom I am the worst.  But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.  Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen."  1 Timothy 1:15-17

"...because of the truth, which lives in us and will be with us forever:  Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father's Son, will be with us in truth and love.  It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us." 2 John 1:2-4
