GOD'S POWER - FORGIVENESS

God promised to forgive us of all of our sins both known and unknown.  We should all pray for God's power to have a forgiving heart with one another.

"Who is a God like you, who pardons sin...forgives the transgressions... You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.  You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea."  Micah 7:18, 19

"For if you forgive others when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you."  Matthew 6:14

"Therefore, my brothers and sisters, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you."  Acts 13:38

"Christ Jesus who died - more than that, who was raised to life - is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us."  Romans 8:34b

"In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace..."  Ephesians 1:7
