GOD'S PROMISES - DISCOURAGED

Don't be discouraged when it looks like things are not going your way.  God will help you through the tough times. Remember God's word says, "weeping may endure for a night but JOY cometh in the morning"!

"Joshua said to them 'Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.  Be strong and courageous.'"  Joshua 10:25

"My shield is God Most High, who saves the upright in heart."  Psalm 7:10

"Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life."  Psalm 23:6

"Why, my soul, are you downcast?  Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God."  Psalm 42:11

"Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong."  1 Corinthians 16:13

"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." 2 Corinthians 4:8,9

"Therefore we do not lose heart.  Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.  For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."  2 Corinthians 4:16-18

"...being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."  Phillippians 1:6

"You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised."  Hebrews 10:36
