GOD'S PROMISES - DISHONESTY

Sometimes when you are in a relationship people can be dishonest about their true intentions and lead you to believe things are one way when they are really another.  Pray and ask God for the wisdom to know the things that you can't see so that you will not be deceived.

"Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil your lips from telling a lie."  Psalm 34:12-13

"The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him.  When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.  The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity."  Proverbs 11:1-3

"The Lord detest lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy."  Proverbs 12:22

"Like a club or a sword or a sharp arrow is one who gives false testimony against a neighbor."  Proverbs 25:18

"For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."  Matthew 12:37

"Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body."  Ephesians 4:25

"For, whoever among you would love life and see good days must keep your tongue from evil and your lips from deceitful speech." 1 Peter 3:10

"Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray.  The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he (Christ) is righteous."  1 John 3:7
